Allegro Media Group Launches NewSound Kids Division
Portland,
Oregon, May 18, 2009 --Allegro Media Group, a leading North American independent distributor of music, video, and audio books, is pleased to announce the launch of its NewSound Kids division.
Allegro’s NewSound Kids division is a rebranding of the company’s NewSound division and will focus on selling premier children’s music, video, and educational multimedia to independent retailers, one-stops, and institutions nationwide. “Launching NewSound Kids makes sense for us because it clarifies what really embodies the NewSound division, and that’s children’s music,” said Rico Micallef, Allegro Media Group President. “Our diverse product lines within this special market have a lot of great content for our consumers.”
Dan Godden will manage NewSound Kids from the office of Allegro’s recently acquired Music Design in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Allegro acquired NewSound in September 2000 and has grown the department by offering quality products and outstanding customer service, despite widespread downturns in the traditional music and distribution industries.
Godden and the Music Design team will manage the rebranded NewSound
Kids department from Music Design’s headquarters in Milwaukee.
NewSound Kids sells children’s music and videos to one-stop distribution
centers and other non-traditional markets worldwide.
